The Eagle Scout rank is the highest achievement in Boy Scouting — earned by only about 4% of all Scouts. Troop 31 has produced over 183 Eagle Scouts since 1913, a testament to our program's strength and the dedication of our Scouts.
What It Takes
- Earn 21 merit badges, including all 13 required Eagle badges
- Demonstrate active leadership at Star and Life rank for required time periods
- Plan, develop, and lead a substantial community service project
- Complete a Scoutmaster conference and pass an Eagle board of review
Our Eagle Tradition
Troop 31 takes great pride in each Eagle Scout. Eagle courts of honor are formal ceremonies attended by family, friends, fellow Scouts, and community leaders. The Eagle Scout designation lasts for life.
