Steps to Earning a Merit Badge
Earning a merit badge is a rewarding multi-step process:
- Talk to your Scoutmaster — Get a signed blue card and counselor contact.
- Contact the counselor — Schedule a meeting; bring a buddy.
- Study and prepare — Read the pamphlet and complete preliminary work.
- Complete requirements — Work through all requirements with the counselor.
- Return the blue card — Give the completed card to the Scoutmaster to receive your badge.
