Welcome to Troop 31! We are glad your son is joining our Scouting family. This guide will help you understand how our troop works.
Meetings
Troop meetings are every Monday, 7:00–8:30 PM at Third Presbyterian Church, 4 Meigs Street, Rochester, NY 14607, from September through June. Scouts should arrive in proper uniform.
Dues and Fees
Annual dues cover BSA registration, Boys Life magazine, and troop operating costs. No Scout is ever excluded due to financial hardship — speak confidentially with the Scoutmaster if assistance is needed.
How Parents Can Help
- Volunteer as a leader, merit badge counselor, or committee member
- Help with the annual Christmas tree and wreath fundraisers
- Drive Scouts to campouts and service projects
- Attend courts of honor to recognize your Scout's achievements
